DHHS Student Scholarships Program

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Student Scholarships Program has helped young people living in public and community housing, or at-risk of homelessness, get the support they need to stay in school and achieve their full potential.

There are 230 scholarships of $1,100 available for eligible students who are continuing their secondary education in the 2016 academic year. It may be spent on any item that can help overcome barriers in the students' educational attainment and ability to remain in school during the 2016 year. These items may include text books, uniforms, computer equipment, transport, disability aids and other specialist equipment.

Students need to be enrolled in Year 11 or 12 VCE or VCAL in 2016.For full details of elibility and the online application process, visit the DHHS Student Scholarships Program website.
