LEAP Higher is BACK in 2017

LEAP Higher 2017 will engage many Y7-8 students with the possibilities of post-secondary education. Students at around 40 Victorian schools will follow the story and antics of Jess, Sam and Maddie as they ponder their hopes and dreams for the future and discover how to realise their ambitions. Their journey of discovery, involves deciding what is right for them and the future they dream of, but didn't believe was possible.

View a short video to see excerpts of the 2015 performances, feedback from teachers and comments from university outreach program organisers in both Victoria and in NSW, where the Gibber team have delivered performances over recent years.

In 2015 and 2016, LEAP Higher was a great success – read all about the 2015 LEAP Higher Roadshow below.

Students and teachers alike were amused, excited and enthralled by the antics of Jess Sam and Maddie, our Gibber team's LEAP Higher characters.

Through wacky scenarios like Celebrity Life Swap, a meeting with The Doctor (who?) and even a serious talk with the parents ("they don't understand me...")  the characters took the audience along on their journey of discovery, towards deciding what was right for them and the future they dreamed of, but hadn't believed was possible.

After an hour of entertainment, the Manor Lakes P-12 students got some real insights into careers in Science and Business, enjoying either a LEAP into...Sciences lab-based activity, as Formulation Chemists, or a LEAP into...Business activity looking at the six key areas of Business and becoming Marketers promoting the benefits of some wierd inventions from the early 20th century.

Over 300 students at Manor Lakes P-12, Werribee and William Ruthven SC, Thomastown attended the Day 1 roadshow events.
